Mission of this role
As a Solution Developer, you are the technical backbone of our Professional Services team. You enable complex customer implementations by designing and delivering solutions such as data migrations, API integrations, document templates and workflow automation. You translate customer operational needs into scalable Rentman configurations and you contribute to CX innovation through internal tooling, automation and AI experimentation. You sit within the Professional Services team, part of Customer Experience, and report to the Professional Services Team Lead.
How it works
On a strategic level, you work closely with Customer Success and Support, sharing input and contributing to strategy and tactics.
On a daily level, you work directly with customers in a technical consulting capacity and collaborate closely with Onboarding Trainers, the Training Manager, Customer Success Managers, Technical Support and the Product and Development teams.
What you'll do
Design and execute data migration solutions for new customers, analysing their data structures and requirements, developing migration scripts and tooling and ensuring accurate and secure data transfer into Rentman environments
Troubleshoot migration challenges and support complex enterprise onboarding scenarios
Own the technical setup of advanced document templates using HTML/CSS, ensuring they are scalable, maintainable and aligned with product capabilities
Help customers adapt document outputs to their operational needs and collaborate with Technical Support to maintain template standards
Build and maintain API integrations with external systems and provide technical consultation during onboarding and complex implementations
Translate customer operational workflows into concrete technical solutions within Rentman, looping in the Product team when you encounter product limitations
Develop internal tools and scripts that improve CX operational efficiency and build proof-of-concept solutions for AI-driven workflows
Support the development of AI-assisted decision trees and automation layers, contributing technical insights to CX innovation initiatives

Job requirements
What makes a successful Onboarding Trainer
Hands-on experience with HTML/CSS for template development
Ability to analyse customer workflows and translate them into technical solutions
Strong problem-solving and debugging skills
Experience working in SaaS implementation or technical consulting environments
Fluent English, written and spoken
A personality that fits Rentman: takes ownership, loves working with others, is curious and gets motivated by solving challenges as a team
Nice to haves
Programming experience in JavaScript and/or Python
Experience with APIs and system integrations
Background in the AV rental, broadcasting or event industry
