Mission of this role:

We are looking for a Senior Product Manager responsible for the implementation of new features and product improvements for the Rentman software. You will manage the backlog of one of our products and make sure the functionality of developed features is on point. You communicate with our users and internal stakeholders to constantly ensure you understand the needs of our users.

As a Senior Product Manager at Rentman you will have autonomy and freedom, but also the responsibility to decide the next cool feature to add to your product (roadmap). We believe that talking to our users yourself will get you the best input to make your decisions (discovery).


Your primary goal is to develop and implement a strategic product vision that aligns with our long-term goals. You will gain a deep understanding of our target and potential customers, the market landscape, and the Rentman product’s capabilities to ensure that the team focuses on the most impactful projects.

We are looking for organised people that love to work in teams, are tech savvy, data minded and can break down problems into actionable steps. You should be able to balance your focus between now (sprint), next (backlog) and later (roadmap).


What will you do:

  • In close collaboration with the Head of Product, you will own the product roadmap, vision and delivery of one of Rentman’s software products or modules

  • Envision a long term horizon for your product driven by intuition, expertise, and experience, supported by data

  • Translate the product goals to an actionable roadmap, by understanding the needs of the customer through discovery, data analysis, and market research 

  • Work with launching customers and conduct user tests to understand what needs to be done to drive the adoption of the product and its features

  • Manage the understanding and visibility of the roadmap to the development team and internal stakeholders

  • Collaborating closely with design and engineering teams to validate that solutions are both usable and feasible, and manage risks throughout the execution and product launch phases

  • Coordinate across departments to ensure smooth go to market releases

  • Foster a cooperative environment to maximise the collective impact of the team

  • Share knowledge, best practices and mentor the Product team to help everyone level up in terms of product craft and delivery

Job requirements

What we are looking for:

  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent practical experience

  • At least 5 years working experience as a product manager (preferably at a B2B SaaS software company) and experience with software product development methodologies (like Scrum)

  • Demonstrated experience in maximising value for the end user aligned with company and product goals

  • Strong communication skills in English

  • Ability to convey complex ideas in a clear manner, both verbally and in writing

  • Ability to collaborate across teams and effectively multi-task with attention to detail

  • Strong analytical and problem solving skills

Bonus points for:

  • Experience in the event/media production industry is a big plus
