Mission of this role

As Product Manager – Integrations at Rentman, you’ll shape how Rentman comes alive in our customers’ tech ecosystems by turning connections with other tools into seamless, powerful experiences. Beyond maintaining integrations or APIs, you’ll define their strategy, shape their development, and make them a central pillar of our platform. You’ll lead the evolution of our public API, working closely with Product, Development, Support, and external partners to ensure Rentman is easy to connect, reliable to build on, and central to our customers’ workflows.

Your goal is to build a clear, scalable, and future-proof integrations ecosystem. In the short term, you’ll map out the current API and integrations landscape, identify opportunities, and define a roadmap for improvement. In the long term, you’ll work towards the launch of a new version of our public API as a paid product, establish a thriving network of integration partners, and create tools that allow customers and partners to get more value from Rentman. You’ll also contribute to strategic decisions across Product, Development, Financials, and Support, helping shape the platform’s long-term growth and positioning.

What you'll do

  • Lead high-impact onboarding for customers, setting them up for success and helping them achieve value with Rentman as quickly as possible

  • Build and maintain strong, long-term relationships with your customer portfolio through regular check-ins and proactive guidance

  • Understand customer goals, usage patterns, and challenges through customer interactions and Vitally data, in order to drive customer health, product adoption, and identify expansion and upsell opportunities

  • Be the voice of your market by sharing recurring feedback with Product, influencing our roadmap, and making sure our platform stays ahead of industry needs

  • Lead impactful customer consultation sessions that empower users to make the most of Rentman, driving customer health, product adoption and advocacy

  • Work closely with Sales, Product, Marketing, and Support to ensure smooth handovers and an aligned customer experience

What you'll do

  • Take ownership of all customer-facing integrations, including the public API, webhook system, Zapier, Shopify, and accounting software integrations (such as Exact Online, Xero, QuickBooks, Peppol/Billit, and Verifactu/Fiskaly)

  • Define and drive the integrations strategy by deciding which integrations we should build, support, or partner on based on customer needs, business impact, and technical feasibility

  • Lead the planning and rollout of Public API v2, ensuring new Rentman functionality is consistently and thoughtfully exposed

  • Guard API quality and consistency by aligning on naming conventions, data structures, and overall developer experience

  • Work with Product and Development teams to prepare the API for a headless Rentman core and launch it as a paid product

  • Explore and define opportunities for API monetization together with the Product team

  • Build and maintain relationships with external software vendors and integration partners

  • Act as the go-to person for the internal Technical Support team on anything related to integrations and API usage.

  • Guide the development of technical proof-of-concepts and reference integrations to set clear examples and best practices

Job requirements

What makes a successful Product Manager - Integrations

  • 3+ years of experience as a Technical Product Manager or Software Developer, with a strong interest in APIs and technical products

  • A product-driven mindset, able to balance long-term vision with hands-on execution and technical realities

  • Clear and confident communication skills, both with internal teams and external partners

  • Structured and analytical, able to prioritize effectively and keep complex topics understandable

  • Comfortable working closely with multiple teams across Product, Development, and Support

  • Handles third-party collaboration with patience and a solution-oriented mindset.

  • Proactive and accountable, taking full ownership of the integrations domain

  • Collaborative team player who thrives in cross-functional settings and comfortable working closely with multiple teams.
