Job description

About us

Rentman is a B2B SaaS scaleup building a smart, powerful operations management platform for event and production teams. Our users plan everything from small shoots to massive festivals in 70+ countries — and they all rely on Rentman to keep their gear, people, and timing perfectly in sync. Check out our public roadmap to see what’s coming next.

We’re based in Utrecht (NL) with a second office in Toronto (CA), and our team includes 100+ people from 30+ nationalities. We work in English, and our culture is open, inclusive, and flat — built on curiosity, ownership, and the freedom to challenge ideas.

Mission Of This Role

As a Product Manager at Rentman, your mission is to help our customers succeed and help our business grow while doing it. You make sure we build the right features: innovations that solve real problems and deliver value to both the customer and the company. You own the product. You talk to users, dig into data, and align with your team to ship improvements that matter. You think in outcomes, not output, and you're not afraid to make bold, clear decisions to move things forward. You'll play a key role in empowering one of our five development teams, working closely with 4 to 6 developers and QA. You'll balance short-term delivery with long-term vision, and this will directly impact how hundreds of thousands of event and production professionals run their business, every day, all over the world.

What Are You Going To Do?

  • Maximise adoption of our products, measured by Usage-Based MRR growth.

  • Maximise adoption of new features, measured by achieving Feature Business Goals.

  • Define, refine, and prioritise a clear and actionable product backlog.

  • Support the development team in understanding what should be built and why.

  • Continuously develop your product management skills.

  • Identify the Minimum Viable Product (MVP) and plan iterative improvements based on feedback from launching partners.

  • Reflect on past decisions to improve future planning and roadmaps.

  • Conduct both qualitative and quantitative user, competitor, and stakeholder research.

  • Balance time and focus between 'now' and 'next' product priorities.

  • Own and communicate a clear product roadmap that translates the long-term product vision into actionable, measurable steps.

  • Shape and maintain an inspiring product vision that guides the team and ensures all product decisions contribute to long-term value creation.

The Product Manager plays a key role in guiding one of our five self-organising development teams, each responsible for its product stream. Working closely with a team of 4 to 6 frontend and backend developers — one of whom also serves as Scrum Master — the Product Manager ensures that the team focuses on building the right features in the right way. Operating within a Scrum framework with two-week sprints and weekly releases, the Product Manager collaborates with a dedicated QA team that supports testing, regression checks, and release management to maintain product quality and reliability.
