Mission of this role
At Rentman, Customer Support isn’t just about solving tickets or answering questions of customers, it’s about being a key partner for event professionals who make incredible things happen every day. As our next Dutch-speaking Customer Support Specialist, you’ll be the first point of contact for users running high-pressure productions, from local rentals to massive international festivals. Your mission: make sure every customer feels confident, supported, and empowered to succeed with Rentman.
This is a role where your problem-solving skills, empathy, and clear communication have a direct impact on our customers’ success and loyalty. You’ll ensure fast, effective support, guide new users through smooth onboarding, and channel valuable customer insights back to our Product team, shaping the platform that powers the global event industry.
What you'll do
Deliver outstanding support across tickets, chat, and calls in Dutch and English, turning challenges into solutions that leave customers with value
Own onboarding moments, making sure new customers get off to a strong, confident start with Rentman
Be the trusted expert who can explain complex features in a way that’s simple, actionable, and tailored to each user’s workflow
Spot patterns and gather feedback from Dutch-speaking customers to help Product and Success teams improve the platform and customer experience
Lead customer training sessions that empower users to get the most out of Rentman, driving adoption and confidence
Collaborate on internal projects, share learnings, and push improvements that strengthen both the team and the way we serve customers

Job requirements
What makes a successful Customer Support Specialist
1+ years of experience in customer support or another customer-facing role
Fluent in Dutch and confident in English, with the ability to connect across cultures and backgrounds
A strong communicator who can simplify technical topics and guide customers with patience and clarity
Proactive and resourceful, thriving in a fast-paced environment where priorities can shift quickly
A passion for customer experience, going beyond “fixing issues” to creating moments of trust and value
A personality that thrives at Rentman: ownership-driven, collaborative, curious, and motivated by solving complex problems—together
