Mission of this role
As a Customer Success Manager DACH, you’ll be responsible for ensuring our customers get the most value out of Rentman — driving retention, expansion, and long-term advocacy.
In this role, you’ll make a real impact by building strong, proactive relationships with our German-speaking customers and guiding them throughout their Rentman journey. You’ll be part of a collaborative and international team, working closely with Sales, Product, and Support to spot growth opportunities, reduce churn, and optimize onboarding, playing a key role in Rentman’s growth across the DACH region.
What you'll do
Own the onboarding experience for current and new mid-sized & larger customers, guiding them through a smooth setup to help them achieve value with Rentman as quickly as possible
Build strong, long-term relationships with your customer portfolio by staying proactive, regularly checking in, and offering strategic guidance tailored to their Rentman journey
Identify growth opportunities by understanding customer goals, usage patterns, and pain points—helping to uncover expansion, upsell, or cross-sell potential
Act as the voice of the customer, sharing insights and feedback with our Product team to continuously improve the platform and customer experience
Lead impactful customer consultation sessions that empower users to make the most of Rentman, driving product adoption and advocacy
Collaborate cross-functionally with Sales, Product, and Support to ensure seamless customer handovers and alignment across teams
Job requirements
What makes a successful Customer Success Manager
2+ years of experience in customer-facing roles like Customer Success, Support, Onboarding, or Implementation
Fluent in German, with excellent English skills to confidently communicate across teams and with our global customer base
A clear communicator who can break down complex topics into simple, actionable insights for users of all technical levels
A structured, detail-oriented mindset—comfortable managing a large portfolio of customers, timelines, and technical requirements
Takes initiative and ownership of their market and customer base, turning challenges into opportunities with a problem-solving mindset
A collaborative team player who enjoys working cross-functionally with different departments
A personality that thrives at Rentman – strong ownership, collaborative spirit, curiosity, and a drive to solve complex problems together
