As a Sales Development Representative at Rentman, you will be at the forefront of continuing our expansion strategy globally. You will play a crucial role in our business growth by prospecting bigger sales opportunities in the market. Together with an Account Executive, you bring new Enterprise customers to Rentman. 


You will be joining an international sales team that consists of 9 people from 6 nations located in Utrecht and Toronto, Canada. All of us are highly motivated in selling the industry's best product to event service providers and making their lives easier. 


What are your responsibilities?

  • You will be the first full-time Sales Development Representative in the team and together with the Sales Manager, you define a growth strategy for all opportunities you bring in 
  • Generate outbound leads by continuously looking for new sales opportunities and building your target list, mainly in English 
  • Call and email your target list and qualify them into a Sales Qualified Lead
  • Book meetings with those leads and the Account Executive for them to demonstrate the software and close the deal 
  • Together with the sales team, research and think how we can improve our current sales processes and results

  • Represent the company at trade shows and other industry events

Pré-requis du poste

What are we looking for?

  • Native-level English proficiency, written and verbally, and it's a plus if you also speak German, Dutch or French

  • At least 1 year of sales or SaaS experience 

  • You are tech savvy and have got experience working with SaaS or application tools

  • Strong communication skills; reaching out by phone is something you prefer over emailing

  • A love for sales: contacting a lead and discovering their needs and challenges they face in their daily business route gives you energy

  • You get motivated by challenges and with your organisational skills, you keep your tasks organized and on a high level 

  • Ideally, you have experience in the event production industry or have sold SaaS before
